Emergency Food Supplies Needed by Tribes in Pucallpa

May 2020: Approximately 50 families from the remote Yurua and Purús watersheds have been living in the city of Pucallpa since the COVID 19 pandemic started and desperately need food. Please help us provide emergency food supplies!

Most traveled to the city on flights subsidized by the government to receive medical attention, but the flights stopped in March and won’t resume for several weeks. The government has provided very little support, and the families have asked us, the Upper Amazon Conservancy / Conservación Alto Amazonas, to provide emergency food supplies.

Please visit this link to a GoFundMe page to learn more or to donate. Thank you for helping Peru’s indigenous tribes during the very difficult time!
